Era Download

Hey everyone, I've finally gotten around to putting the server up for download.

There's two options:

Torrent: http://box0.xp-e.net:8008/res/era.tar.xz.torrent <<< PREFERRED
Direct: http://box0.xp-e.net:8008/res/era.tar.xz

You can use a torrent downloader such as Deluge to download the torrent (just install deluge, launch deluge, and add the .torrent file so it'll starting downloading the map).

The "Direct" download will work if you don't want to bother with torrents, but the direct download is a webseed for the torrent, which means that even if you use the torrent and there's no-one else seeding, you'll still download at the *exact* same speed as if you used the direct download. And if there's anyone else seeding, then it'll go *faster* than using the direct download!

If you can, please continue to seed the map's torrent even when you're done downloading.

Once it's downloaded, you'll need to use something like 7zip to extract the file.

So, some example instructions:

Windows/OSX:

1. Download the .torrent file, above
2. Add the torrent file to Deluge
3. Wait for the download to finish
4. Right-click on era.tar.xz, hover over "7 zip", and click "extract here"
5. If you end up with "era.tar", just do "right-click > 7zip > extract here" one more time
6. The world is in the Era folder.

To get it into a minecraft world, just make a new world in single player, and go to its folder in .minecraft, delete the "world" folder, move Era to where world used to be, and rename "Era" to "world". Then just enter the world you made.

Linux:

Instead of using 7zip, just run the command: "tar -xvf era.tar.xz"
